A Shreveport man is in jail after a search of his Sunset Acres residence turned up narcotics, according to Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Alan Crump.
Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force were called to a residence in the 7000 block of Louise on Friday, February 17, by Shreveport Police detectives who were there on an unrelated case. Agents obtained a search warrant and located approximately 70 grams of suspected crack and powder cocaine, 29 grams of marijuana, 10 dosage units of Clonazepam, seven dosage units of Hydrocodone, and one .357 handgun.
Samuel Allen, Sr., 61, was taken into custody and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on charges of manufacture/distribution of schedule II, possession of schedule II, possession of schedule IV, possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, manufacture/distribution of schedule I, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
