A Shreveport man was arrested by the Caddo Sheriff's Office for stealing liquor from a local convenience store, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

The owner of Super S at Roy and Pinehill roads reported that a man entered the store on two different occasions February 6 and 7 and took cases of liquor valued at $1,100. The suspect was captured on video taking the items and leaving in a white Ford truck with a pipe tailgate.

The suspect was identified as Ronald Alexander on February 21 when he tried to steal liquor from a store in Shreveport and was chased and apprehended by Shreveport Police.

Alexander, 50, of the 900 block of McNeil, was later booked into Caddo Correctional Center on charges including three counts of theft of goods. Two of the charges were city-related and one was a combined case report from CPSO.
