The Caddo Sheriff’s on-line tax sale will be held June 6-8. Anyone who has not yet paid their 2016 property taxes is encouraged to do so before the sale begins, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Delinquent taxes can be paid on-line at www.caddosheriff.org through 5 p.m. June 5 or in person in the Tax Office at 501 Texas Street during the sale. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Taxes can be paid with cash, cashier’s check, money order, or credit card.
Property owners can check the Caddo Sheriff’s website to see if their property is for sale. Click on the Sheriff’s/Tax Sales button and then the CivicSource auction link (www.civicsource.com) to view the Caddo Parish auction. Click the “register” button on CivicSource to sign up as a buyer.
Computers are available at the Caddo Parish Courthouse for the public to register and participate in the bidding process.
On-line information includes a list of properties, a plotted map, satellite images of the properties, the amount of delinquent taxes owed, and answers to general questions about the tax sale process.
