Caddo Sheriff's detectives are looking for a suspect involved in a property damage case that has cost a local business over $100,000 so far, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Caruthers Producing Company has been the target of recent incidents where someone has opened valves at tank batteries in the 14000 block of Old Atlanta Road in Vivian causing crude oil and salt water to pour onto the ground. As a result of the tampering, Caruthers was forced to pay for expensive clean-up processes on top of the monetary loss of oil.
Detectives say the incidents have occurred on at least four occasions, including around March 2 and March 8.
Anyone who has information about these cases is asked to contact Det. Andy Scoggins at 675-2170. Suspicious activity in the area can also be reported to CPSO at the same number.
