The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking of the owner/owners of two horses found off I-49 in north Shreveport today.

Around 8:20 this morning, the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Shreveport Police regarding the first horse – a mare – that was tied to a tree branch off I-49 at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The second horse – a bay stud – was found at the end of Phelps at I-49.

The horses are being held by the Caddo Sheriff’s Stock Patrol and will be sold at auction if the owner is not located. For more information, contact Deputy Gary Bailey at 681-1120.
